About Me

Portrait

Hello! I’m Elwira Wozniak—but you can call me Elvy. I’m a graphic and web designer residing in Toronto, Canada. I graduated George Brown College—School of Design in 2007 with honours and now carry over 5 years of industry experience since completing college.

2007

In the beginning of my career I was hired by a design/architecture studio in Toronto which quickly promoted me from Junior Designer to Senior status. I have been lucky to have been given an opportunity as a young designer to work with clients like Kraft, Danone and Proctor & Gamble. Within this studio I was introduced to interior design and architecture—which expanded my technical knowledge of drafting and 3D rendering. Projects I worked on included tradeshow booths, point of sale, packaging, branding, flash websites and direct mail.

2008

I was hired by a design firm that focused on software development. This position in my career allowed me to increase my self taught knowledge of web design and development. As a Senior Designer, my duties included briefing software developers and designers, developed creative concepts and preparing production files. These projects would vary from packaging, branding, print design, HTML emails, websites and front-end UI.

2011

In February of 2011, my passion for design has led me to freelancing full-time. My goals are to grow with my client base and build long-term partnerships. I continue to offer a variety of creative services on a one-to-one basis, or to a very busy design studio. As a full-time freelance designer I am readily available for quick turn-around. I am always eager to come on board and expand your marketing initiatives and capabilities.

HOBBIES & INTERESTS

  • Experimenting with extreme sports (Sky Diving, Rock Climbing, Zip lining, and more..)
  • Attending industry related events to network and build my knowledge of trends and technology
  • Illustration, painting, sculpting and life-drawing
  • Experimental music

MISSION

My intention is to build a long-term partnership with my clients by consistently providing premium level work to their table.
